大上裕樹展 『Inlays on the ridge』 を記念し、茶室にて「キオク茶会」を開催致します。
個展タイトルの元となる「鎬象嵌(しのぎ・ぞうがん)」の技法から辿る、不思議な記憶の世界。
大上作品をふんだんに用い、どなたでも気軽にお楽しみいただけるお茶会です。
お菓子は青山・紅谷による、今茶会のためのオリジナル和菓子を用意します。

刻まれた人間の記憶
In the ridgelines of steep mountains,
carved are the memories of humanity.
焼き物の郷・丹波の地に伝わるシノギの美学を
若き陶芸家が時空を超えて発信する「鎬象嵌」。
長い年月をかけて育まれた自然に囲まれながら、
人間の営みとして土を掘り、窯を炊く。
山が削り取られたその痕跡の上に、
陶芸家たちの残した記憶が降り積もる。
祖父の代から続く「昇陽窯」の三代目が挑む
一昨年「タイムマシン」に続く、
白白庵での二度目の個展にご期待ください。
In the pottery region of TAMBA, a young ceramic artist transcends time and space to convey the aesthetics of SHINOGI (curving) with "Shinogi-Zogan”( Inlays on the ridge).
Amidst nature nurtured over countless years,
Humans dig the earth and fire the kilns as part of their daily lives.
On the traces left by the mountains' erosion,
the memories left by ceramic artists accumulate.
Anticipate the second solo exhibition at PAKUPAKUAN,following "Time Machine" two years ago,
by the third generation of Shoyo-Kiln, continuing from the time of his grandfather.
