佐々木推奨の旬の日本酒を、毎回３種ご用意します。
今回はシマカミリッカの選んだ酒器・酒盃で楽しみながら、話も弾みます。

「私は陶器絵付けの絵画化を試みる。
　その技法やプロセス、あるいは思考を取り込み、
　釉薬や上絵の具の層を重ねていくように、
　画面に絵の具のレイヤーを重ねる。
　そして焼成によって化学反応が起こるように、
　絵の具による表層の現象を起こしたい。」

　“I attempt to transform pottery glazing into a form of painting.
　 By integrating its techniques, processes, and even thoughts,
　 I layer paint on the canvas in the same manner as adding layers of glaze or overglaze.
　 Just as chemical reactions occur during firing, I want to create surface phenomena with the paint.”

伝統工芸技法の「いっちん」（器の生地に土を盛り付けて装飾を施す技法）から着想を得て、
幾重にもレイヤーを重ねた絵画の画面上に、絵具を絞り出して描くことで独自の視覚効果を表現。
国内外で評価を着実に高める期待の画家・シマカミリッカの、待望の二度目の個展を開催します。
色数を制限して、より緻密に・繊細に構築された画面には、見れば見るほど新しい発見と驚きが隠されています。
さあ、じっと目を凝らして貴方の目の前に広がる世界に、没入して下さい。

Inspired by the traditional craft technique of “Icchin” (a technique of decorating a vessel by heaping clay on its surface), SHIMAKAMI Rikka expresses a unique visual effect by squeezing out paint on a multi-layered painting screen.
This is the long-awaited second solo exhibition of SHIMAKAMI Rikka, a promising artist who is steadily gaining recognition both in Japan and abroad.
The more you look at her paintings, the more new discoveries and surprises you will find hidden in her more detailed and delicately constructed works with limited colors.
Now, stare intently and immerse yourself in the world that unfolds in front of your eyes.
