お馴染み酒数奇者・佐々木達郎による、リアルで楽しむ日本酒と器のテイスティング会を開催。
佐々木推奨の日本酒は毎回3種を用意、山田浩之の酒器・酒盃で楽しみながらアートスピーカー「Cave340」の音色に耳を傾けて。
順次入れ替え制ですので、気軽にお立ち寄りの上でお楽しみください。

信楽の陶芸家・山田浩之がコロナ禍の中で人知れず没頭したのが、スピーカー作品制作でした。
かつては人型大根を陶芸作品「土大根」として多数展開、無人販売機を設置したり
ある時は徳川の菩提寺に巨大な錦鯉を奉ったり。
常に人を楽しませ、驚かせることを無上の喜びとするトリックスターが、
持てる技術とアイデアをふんだんに取り入れて、世に問いかけるのが唯一無二のアートスピーカー!

作品名「Cave 340」は山田の採用したバックロードホーン方式の形状を「洞窟」に見立て、
音速(*一般的に常温15°Cで秒速340mとされる)を表す「340」という数字を組み合わせた造語。
愛くるしい、どこか憎めないキャラクターのような造形の数々に対し、愛称としてのコードネームを設定。
スマートフォンからブルートゥースの操作で簡単に楽しめる一方、
ユニークな形状だからこそ生まれる音の温かみや響きは、どれ一つとっても同じではない個性となります。
従来のオーディオは「マニア向け」という印象が強かったものですが、
Cave 340は老若男女どなたでも楽しめるパーソナル・オーディオであり、ユーモラスなオブジェでもあるのです。

あらゆるシーンで魅力を発揮し、皆を楽しませる彼らはまさに「一家に一台」(あるいは二台でも三台でも)、
これからの生活に欠かせない存在となるかもしれません。


YAMADA Hiroyuki, the ceramic artist in Shigaraki, became secretly engrossed in creating speaker artwork during the COVID-19 crisis.
In the past, he had extensively crafted human-shaped radish ceramics called "Tsuchidaikon", set up unattended sales spot, and even offered massive Nishikigoi carps to the Bodhi temple of the Tokugawa shoguns.

The trickster who takes great pleasure in entertaining and surprising people, he incorporates his skills and ideas abundantly, and what he presents to the world is a one-of-a-kind art speaker!
The work's title, "Cave 340," is a coined term that combines the shape of the back-loaded horn method YAMADA adopted, likened to a "cave", and the number "340" that represents the speed of sound (*generally considered to be 340m per second at a normal temperature of 15°C).
Codenames are assigned as nicknames to the lovable, somewhat irresistible character-like shapes.
Easily enjoyed via Bluetooth operations from your smartphone, the warmth and resonance of the sound born from its unique shape become individual characteristics that are never the same.
While conventional audio devices are often considered "for enthusiasts", Cave 340 is a personal audio that can be enjoyed by anyone, young or old, male or female, and it is also a humorous object.

They will be an indispensable part of our lives in the future, as "one in the family" (or even two or three), as they will be attractive and entertaining in every situation.
