田村一作品に通底する死生観や「見えざる手」の存在を、浄土宗の教義を引用しながらお話ししていただきます。

全 て の 記 憶 は 抽 象 化 さ れ 、
果 て し な い 渇 望 を 招 く 。
見 え ざ る も の の 気 配 を 感 じ
そ の 手 が 添 え ら れ る 時
神 の 滴 が も た ら す 饗 宴 が 始 ま る 。
Drops gliding on soft skin,
Cheeks faintly blushing,
Lips that evoke desire,
All memories become abstracted, invoking endless yearning.
When one senses the presence of the unseen, and its hand touches, the feast brought about by the divine drops begins.
日本酒をはじめとする様々な「酒」の器が人気を博し、多くのレストランでも採用される田村一の作品。
一貫してそのフォルムは有機的・官能的であり、自然界の生物や植物を想起させるシルエットが特徴。
白を基調としながらも、シーズン毎に新たな釉薬を開発し、実はカラーバリエーションも豊富なのが魅力。
今回は「黒」の表現に挑戦。単一的な色ではなく、内包する色彩の濃淡でいくつもの表情を見せる。
実用性とアートとしての側面を両立させる鬼才の新境地を、とくとご覧下さい。
TAMURA Hajime’s works have gained popularity for various “liquors” vessels, including sake, and have been adopted by many restaurants.
Consistently forms are organic and sensual, characterized by silhouettes reminiscent of creatures and plants in nature.
While based in white, he develops new glazes each season, making the color variations actually diverse and alluring.
This time, he took on the challenge of expressing "black”. It is not a single color, but rather, it shows a variety of expressions by the shades of colors it contains.
Please take a look at the new frontier of this genius who harmonizes both utility and artistic aspects.
