ひらいて
てをうって
むすんで
またひらいて
花の命は短かれど
希望の蕾膨らませ
満開の笑顔咲かせ
その散り際までも
美しい。
Tied together,
opened,
hands clapped,
tied once more,
and opened again.
Though the life of a flower is brief,
it swells with buds of hope,
blooms into a smile at its fullest,
and even in the moment it falls,
remains beautiful.
面相筆を用いて緻密な線を一本一本引くことで、
画面に生命力豊かな花が咲く。
ひたすらに繰り返すその行為は、
あたかも地球に初めて花が咲いてから 今日に至るまでの出来事を、
辿るかのようである。
絵師が生み出す花は架空のものでありながら、普遍的な生命の象徴であり、
それぞれの花の生涯は、私達「人間」の一生にも例えることが出来よう。
今展では、神戸が初めて女性画を披露する。
瑞々しさ、儚さ、強さと弱さが同居する佇まいから、
花を描く絵師の普遍的な視線を感じずにはいられない。
同時開催の新春特別展｜青山紅谷 × 白白庵「紅白茶湯初め」では、菓匠による神戸博喜作品をイメージしたお菓子も登場予定です。ご期待ください！

By drawing countless fine lines, one by one, with a mensō brush, flowers rich with vitality bloom across the surface of the painting.
This act of relentless repetition is as though it traces the passage of time itself—from the moment the first flowers bloomed on Earth to the present day.
The flowers created by the painter are imaginary, yet they stand as universal symbols of life.
The life cycle of each flower may well be likened to the span of our own human lives.
In this exhibition, GODO Hiroki presents female figures for the first time.
From their presence—where freshness and fragility, strength and vulnerability coexist—we cannot help but sense the painter’s universal gaze upon flowers and life itself.
At the same time, a New Year Special Exhibition, Aoyama BENIYA × PAKUAKUAN
“KOU-HAKU CHANOYU HAJIME” ~ RED & WHITE the first tea ceremony of 2026 ~
will also be held.
Wagashi inspired by the works of GODO Hiroki, specially created by a master confectioner, are scheduled to appear. Please look forward to it.
