一階茶室にて、目黒の蟠龍寺の副住職・吉田龍雄氏をお迎えし、「法話茶会」を開催します。
今展のテーマ「塑像の姿」になぞらえ、 仏像やお地蔵様などにまつわるお話を聞きながら、
伊豆野一政と大下邦弘による道具を用い、作品を随所に設えてお茶を楽しみます。
二人の作品と法話とお茶の三位一体を楽しむ貴重な機会を、どうぞお見逃しなく。

今回は陶芸家・伊豆野一政とガラス造形作家・大下邦弘の二人による酒盃・酒器の競演！
佐々木推奨の日本酒は毎回３種を用意。 作家や参加者同士の会話も弾む、楽しい時間を。

塑像は愛と願いで育つ。
It stands still, it's enshrined, it's worshiped and it's prayed.
Statues are nurtured by love and wishes.
大下邦弘は、ガラスという素材を超絶技法を駆使して自在に操り、
宮沢賢治の寓話やギリシャ神話などの古典の世界から、モチーフを召喚。
土台の上にすっと立ち上がる像は、昼と夜とでも表情を変え
物語の中の出番を静かに待っているようでもある。
伊豆野一政は、現代において見過ごされそうな存在をありのままに見つめ、
地中から発掘された古陶のような質感を再現し、命と時間を閉じ込める。
素朴で柔らかな表情の像は、生まれたての赤子のようでもあり、
長く寵愛を受けた依代（よりしろ）のようでもある。
素材・技法は異なれど、日々祈りを込めて塑像を作る二人の作家。
白白庵ならではの二人展で相対し、どのような化学反応が起きるのでしょう？
貴方の想いに耳を傾けてくれる「像」を、探してみてください。
OSHITA Kunihiro freely manipulates the material of glass with his superb technique, summoning motifs from the classical world of MIYAZAWA Kenji’s fables and Greek mythology.
The statues, which stand on a foundation, seem to change their expressions from day to night, quietly waiting for their turn to appear in the story.
IZUNO Kazumasa looks at the seemingly overlooked in the modern world and reproduces the texture of old pottery excavated from the ground, trapping life and time within.
The simple and soft expressions of the statues are like those of a newborn baby, or a long-loved “YORISHIRO”(object representative of a divine spirit).
The two artists, who use different materials and techniques, create statues with their daily prayers.
What kind of chemical reactions will occur when the two artists meet in this unique two-person exhibition at PAKUPAKUAN?
